What are Contemporary Therapies?
Contemporary therapies are a new generation of therapeutic treatment approaches evolved from cognitive psychology, body-oriented psychotherapy and hypnosis.
Many orthodox treatment approaches have been restrictive where there has been no extensive evidence base or no recognition of recent advances in neurobiology. Furthermore, each person is a unique individual, so as therapists we need to tailor psychotherapy to individual needs not he other way round.
The ECCCT maintains an eclectic approach to psychotherapy and utilizes therapeutic strategies that work.
Our service provision includes the following:
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Solution Focused Therapy
Clinical Hypnosis
Neuro-linguistic Psychotherapy
